These watches are brilliant!! If you like analogue watches but crave for a useful compass these are your baby. Simply press either button and the compass indicator swings into position with no delay providing an accurate indication of True north, as it's an electronic compass you can program in the declination value to compensate for the magnetic deviation. The indicator continues to track your direction in real time for 10 seconds then it will gracefully sweep back to its resting position. Best of all the watch is relatively thin with a flat back so you can actually use it against a map for real navigation (unlike some digital compasses).
